Dr. Aspron earned an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. and a Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Dr. Aspron has 18 years of experience as a clinician in the field of mental health in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has conducted assessments and provided psychotherapy in counseling centers, schools, hospitals, detention centers, and shelters.
For the past 10 years, she has conducted psychological evaluations for immigration cases, including VAWA petitions, U-Visa for victims of trafficking and victims of crime, medical waivers, and extreme hardship cases. Dr. Aspron specializes in treating trauma and has worked with clients who have experienced complex trauma, adverse childhood experiences, victims of crime and trafficking, veterans, and sexual trauma. Dr. Aspron focuses on cultivating a warm, respectful, collaborative, therapeutic relationship with her clients and utilizes evidence-based interventions to help clients’ heal and thrive. In her free time, she is a marathoner of over 15 years, a yoga instructor to veterans, and devoted longboarder.
She is currently practicing as a psychological assistant under the supervision of Dr. Neda Khodaparast, Psy.D., QME.
