About Mohaddess

Jessa Mohaddess is working toward her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology. Her interests in psychology developed during her time at UC Davis, where she integrated her Bachelors of Science in Plant Biology with plant medicine and holistic wellness. As a first-generation Lebanese-Armenian, Jessa enjoys working with across all types of diversity, as well as intersecting sexual and gender identities.  Professionally, she has experience conducting forensic evaluations, behavioral and intellectual assessment for children and adolescents, as well as personality assessments for adults. Jessa is the first student chair of the Sacramento Psychoanalytic Society and takes an active role in her community by facilitating events with guest speakers from around the country. Her goal in therapy is to provide patients with a safe environment where they can comfortably explore their longstanding, repetitive behavioral patterns, work through thier past trauma, and discover their inner strengths. Through the use of mindfulness, CBT, and psychodynamic theory, Jessa is committed in helping patients to gain insight and self-awareness, which will eventually influence their present experiences and decision making process.
