Dr. Lilian Salcedo is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been dedicated to the mental health field since 2006. She earned her masters and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego Campus.
Dr. Salcedo strives to create a warm, safe, and supportive therapeutic environment for all of her patients. She works collaboratively with patients to assist them in identifying and navigating life’s challenges from a culturally sensitive, strengths based approach. Her clinical work is guided by cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, attachment theory, and mindfulness based practices.
During the course of her career, Dr. Salcedo has utilized evidence based practices in the treatment of those suffering from depression, anxiety, impact of physical, sexual and/or emotional trauma, and acute stress associated with life transitions. She has special interest and expertise in areas including, acculturation stress, immigration evaluations, and maternal mental health (pregnancy and postpartum).
Dr. Salcedo provides therapeutic services in her native language of Spanish and also in English.
